| It rained on Thursday. Sadly it soaked through my shoes and I was walking around with wet socks the entire day--at school! I kept making funny sqeauky noises as I walked through the hallways. Now if the people had been looking at me for another reason, it would've been okay. Luckily it stopped raining after school, but I still had to walk home in wet shoes. Ahaha, it was fun though.
...I also dropped my hamburger on the ground once at school. What did I do? Hmm, what did I do indeed... XD Blah Blah Corner: I watched this new anime (well, it's not new, but I've only recently seen it) some days ago and I really liked it. Well, I'm not done with it yet (currently on episode 13) but it's really good so far. It's basically a battle between Heaven and Earth (Earth somewhat representing Hell). I was really chipper about it because I saw the movie for it. However... after a certain incident in the anime I lost all motivation to watch it. Anyhow, the only reason I'll continue is too see more Kamui goodness. (That's him to the right.)

| ...I saw a movie! It was amazing! Okay, well, not really. On Saturday my sisters and I (oh, I'm so glad my sister's boyfriend didn't come) went to see the movies at 7:30 PM. Before that, we went hanging around at the mall in the bookstore. While I oogled at the pretty anime magazines and manga, my lil sis was looking for tarot cards (her newest infatuation) and my big sis looked for food recipes. Once I bought my magazine and we were done window shopping, we journeyed about the mall until it was time to go. When we arrived at the theatre, we hung out for about twenty minutes before going inside the movie thingie (you know, the place where the movie is...) To be honest, the part I love the most about movies? The previews! Muwahahaha! I can sit and watch previews all day. The previews I saw were rather interesting. Uh, the one that left the biggest impression though was this sneaker commercial. Yes, a sneaker commercial. It was cool (my sisters liked it too). Speaking of previews and such, I once saw the preview to the Gears of War game at the theatre and was thoroughly impressed--I nearly cried. No, really! XD Onto other things... the movie my sisters and I watched was Daddy's Little Girls. It's not what you may think it is. In fact, I was surprised by what kind of movie it turned out to be. It's not set in a big city enviornment with rich kids and a nice neighborhood (they're present, but not part of the movie). It was the total opposite. I was really touched by this movie, and the plot twist later was a mind turner! I reccomend this movie to people who love big strong guys with a sensitive heart. Blah Blah Corner: Isn't she cute? That's Midori from Midori no Hibi (translates to either Midori Days or Days of Midori and even Green Days). Oh, I loved that anime so much! The main character, Seiji Sawamura, is so hilarious! He's your typical red-headed protagonist (much like Ichigo from Bleach) but what probably sets him apart... is his pig-looking nose. (Well, my sis says it looks like a pig nose...) He's so cute though! I love him! There are also some pretty funny trivia throughout this 13 episode anime.
Trivia 1 - Seiji watches a movie that is apparently Ju-On (The Grudge) in episode one. Trivia 2 - In an episode when Seiji and his friend attend a convention, a person resmbling Naruto is seen in the background.
| I hope you all are having a fine day today. As for me, I'm doing good. There were a lot of people today walking around school with big, giant balloons and stuffed animals. I felt so envious of them!
<-------------------------------------->
So, someone introduced me to a new group: Avenged Sevenfold. Some of their songs are okay... there are only two particular songs I find interesting. "Warmness On The Soul" and "Seize The Day". Yeah... that's it for today.
| When I was in Minnesota visiting my brother, I stayed up late all the time. Not because I wanted to, but because the hours there were two hours earlier than where I originally came from. So, I often stayed up late because I wasn't used to the time (including my sisters). I'd often stay up until 1:00 AM just watching TV. What did I watch? Power Rangers! Along with Digimon and soon, Spider Riders. They're all kiddie shows, I know... but they're so cool! All of those nostalgic feelings returned to me when I watched Power Rangers. I thought, "Ah, I remember him/her." And I also thought, "OMG! Tommy and Kimberley were in love like THAT?!?!"
Oh, the days... I kind of miss those nights. Digimon was awesome. Purely awesome. I often grew sleepy (it didn't come on until midnight or so) but I told myself, "Don't give in!" And I'd make it through. I hated the commercials though... so boring.
| Has anyone heard of this guy? He has the most beautiful songs. EVER. Okay, beautiful may not be a good word to describe a guy's music, so I'll say, "Dude, they're friggin' amazing!" All of his music is completely acoustic. And I believe he writes and composes all his songs. Oh, gosh, I love his songs. Here are the lyrics to my favorite song of his: ------------------------------ Song: Your Call Artist: Secondhand Serenade ------------------------------ Waiting for your call I'm sick, call I'm angry, call I'm desperate for your voice Listening to the song we used to sing in the car, do you remember? Butterfly, early summer, it's playing on repeat Just like when we would meet, like when we would meet [CHORUS] 'Cause I was born to tell you I love you And I am torn to do what I have to To make you mine, stay with me tonight Stripped and polished, I am new, I am fresh, I am feeling so ambitious You and me, flesh to flesh 'Cause every breath that you will take when you are sitting next to me Will bring life into my deepest hopes, what's your fantasy? [REPEAT CHORUS] And I'm tired of being all alone And this solitary moment makes me want to come back home... [REPEAT CHORUS] | | |
